Traveling in foreign cultures and countries has made me who I am today. When I travel, I learn an infinite number of things and develop myself in so many ways. Would I even be vegan if I hadn't seen so much of the world? Driving once across the plastic plantations in Andalusia was enough for me never to want to touch a non-organic paprika in the supermarket again.
I could never blame someone who gets on a plane to see the world, soak up the sun and gain experience. Travel is such an important part of our lives. But how can we do that without doing so much damage to the world?
Relative to all the other commitments I have made: being vegan, creating less plastic waste, heating without using petroleum, consuming consciously.. its's not flying that has proved the hardest for me.
